Security Specialist:
•
Develop and enforce security related policies and
procedures IAW DIA regulations for:
- receive, log, control, protect and destroy
classified material
-
storage of classified information including SECRET,
TOP SECRET and SCI
- conducting investigations into security violations
•
Develop and deliver educational and training
materials and presentations:
-
initial OPSEC and COMSEC briefing and quarterly
refresher training
- termination/out-processing briefings
- foreign travel briefings and on-line foreign
travel requests
•
Assist or facilitate requirements for SCIF
accreditation
•
Perform Arms Room certification and inspections
•
Perform badging requirements in accordance with
local policies and procedures
Qualifications:
• One
year of experience as a FSO or SSO (or equivalent)
• Must
understand the JPAS database and be eligible for
JPAS system access
• Must
understand IC and/or DIA security regulations and
policies
•
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
•
Subject Matter Expert in a broad range of security
issues
The
contract provides strategic Document and Media
Exploitation (DOMEX) support to the Intelligence
Community (IC), Law Enforcement Community and
Department of Defense (DoD) in CONUS and OCONUS
locations.
Mandatory Requirements (All):
Able and willing to live and work in austere
conditions. Have the physical and mental capacity to
function in a high operational tempo and in crisis
situations. Able to communicate effectively
in English, orally and in writing. Experience using
Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint). Experience in word processing, typing,
editing, using office machines. Experience in
data-base processes. Knowledge of U.S.
Intelligence Community. Must be eligible for a full
Secret clearance, or higher, in JPAS in order to be
considered for nomination.
