General Description: 

  • Assist the Security Staff with daily implementation and execution of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). 
  • Interface with all levels of the management and client staff in regards to all security matters of significance. 
  • Input and track sensitive information on employees
  • Assist with name check and Counterintelligence screening process for multiple military agencies among various contracts
  • Complete fingerprinting process as required by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM)
  • Track processing packages throughout their various stages of the security clearance process.
  • Attend and assist with security briefings which may include traveling to client sites, CONUS Replacement Centers, or other locations in the Fayetteville area 
  • Administrative duties will include: answering multi line phones, filing and typing, scheduling appointments and daily maintenance of specialized databases.
  • Must be very organized and detailed oriented.
  • Other duties as assigned

Work experience requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience in the security field as a contractor/government employee/military preferred.
  • Experience in finance and credit counseling is helpful
  • Experience with the preparation and submission of SF86 of the EQIP. 
  • Experience with security and working with the DoD collateral clients, the NISPOM and applicable DoD directives required.

Education Requirements: 

  • High school education required with some college education, or generalized training, requested. 
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications, to include Access.
  • Basic Security courses as assigned by FSO
