Operations Support Task Group
General Skills and
Requirements: Operations
Support personnel fulfill roles previously found in
Administrative/Operations contracts. These personnel
provide non-specific yet critical support in
administrative, operational and logistical areas
including:
•
Performing functions as Team Leaders, as outlined in
4.1.4
•
Planning and organizing administrative services,
plans, policies and procedures
•
Assisting principal staff officers and assistants
with matters of administration, operations,
mobility, logistics, supply, training or other areas
•
Writing official and unofficial correspondence and
messages
•
Preparing briefs, fact sheets, slides
•
Assisting with mail handler duties, both classified
and unclassified
• Consolidating, collating,
editing various recurring reports
• Creating/maintaining file and
records management plans and files
•
Creating, processing, coordinating and completing
action items and tasks
• Performing logistical duties,
including warehousing operations and supply
management
• Conducting VIP briefs, tours
and escorting dignitaries
• Conducting in and
out-processing duties for all assigned and temporary
personnel
• Preparing paperwork for
badges, weapons, SCIF access, billeting, travel etc
• Organizing, cleaning and
relocating offices and office furniture
• Performing routine database
updating/maintenance (does not include database
creation)
• Operating equipment, ie:
scanners, cameras, recording devices, computers,
printers, etc
• Assisting the Training
Specialist as “assistant trainers”
• Using DHDS, TED, DOCEX and
other databases
Highly Desired Capabilities:
• Able
to carry a 50lb load and stack material 5’ high
•
Previous overseas deployment experience supporting
contingency operations
•
Management/supervisory experience
•
Knowledge of U.S. Intelligence Community
•
Experience as an office manager
The
contract provides strategic Document and Media
Exploitation (DOMEX) support to the Intelligence
Community (IC), Law Enforcement Community and
Department of Defense (DoD) in CONUS and OCONUS
locations.
Mandatory Requirements (All):
Able and willing to live and work in austere
conditions. Have the physical and mental capacity to
function in a high operational tempo and in crisis
situations. Able to communicate effectively
in English, orally and in writing. Experience using
Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint). Experience in word processing, typing,
editing, using office machines. Experience in
data-base processes. Knowledge of U.S.
Intelligence Community. Must be eligible for a full
Secret clearance, or higher, in JPAS in order to be
considered for nomination.
