Media Exploitation Technician:
•
Receive, categorize, document and track computer,
audio and video storage mediums
•
Maintain and ensure chain of custody for all items
received
•
Acquire and exploit digital images using forensic
tools to examine file structure, conduct text
searches, examine deleted files and extract
information
•
Ensure media capture data is accounted for and
provided to the examiner and linguists assigned to
the case
•
Create thorough and complete MEDEX reports
• Transfer
images, reports and files to various hardware or
applications for shipment
• Upload
reports and files to the HARMONY database
• Provide technical support to various team
members
• Develop, copy and/or digitize audio and video
mediums, such as cassette and video tapes and 35mm
film
Qualifications:
•
Understanding of Media Exploitation
•
Understanding of chain of custody and the critical
importance of maintaining it
•
Experience digitizing audio and video
•
Understanding of net framework and redundant server
storage
•
Familiarity with audio and video storage mediums
• Firm
understanding and capability with the MS Office
Suite
The
contract provides strategic Document and Media
Exploitation (DOMEX) support to the Intelligence
Community (IC), Law Enforcement Community and
Department of Defense (DoD) in CONUS and OCONUS
locations.
Mandatory Requirements (All):
Able and willing to live and work in austere
conditions. Have the physical and mental capacity to
function in a high operational tempo and in crisis
situations. Able to communicate effectively
in English, orally and in writing. Experience using
Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint). Experience in word processing, typing,
editing, using office machines. Experience in
data-base processes. Knowledge of U.S.
Intelligence Community. Must be eligible for a full
Secret clearance, or higher, in JPAS in order to be
considered for nomination.
