Equipment Fielding Coordinator:
WWLR is looking for highly skilled Equipment
Fielding Planners/Coordinators that are
proficient in unit set fielding and producing
detailed plans to support the process. The
best candidates will have appropriate prior
experience in equipment fielding processes
with the capabilities and skills to lead
and supervise an effective planning process,
and participate in various coordination
forums that will include both Afghan and
Coalition representatives. The candidates
must have sufficient computer skills to
produce products in Microsoft Office formats
and will develop comprehensive plans for
fielding equipment to the Afghanistan National
Security Forces based upon guidance from
Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan
CJ7 and coordinate the implementation and
execution of the plan. The individuals to
be placed in these positions are required
to have experience in working with US military
or coalition ground forces and have been
directly involved in equipment fielding
activities. The Fielding Planners must synchronize
the separate elements of multiple fielding
plans and produce fielding schedules that
are de-conflicted with the Afghanistan National
Security Forces operational requirements.
Field Coordinator
1. Develop a comprehensive plan for the regional ANSF units to meet requirements for new equipment fielding, including:
• Equipment delivery and accountability
• New equipment training
• Facilities required for training, storage, maintenance, etc.
• Manning required for training, operations, and sustainment
• Sustainment of equipment including projected consumable requirements.
• Maintenance including spare parts flow, technical expertise, and tools.
• Plan for the gradual turnover of training, maintenance, and sustainment responsibilities to the ANSF.
2. Create matrixes and schedules to synchronize all aspects of multiple fielding efforts across all regional units.
3. Develop schedules to de-conflict fielding efforts with unit operational requirements.
4. Serve as single POC for all ANSF modernization fielding efforts resourced by CSTC-A in the region.
5. Coordinate planning, implementation, and execution of equipment fielding with multiple staff sections and agencies including, but not limited to: J1, J3, J4, SAO, J6, and J7.
6. Produce fielding orders to coordinate the implementation and execution of the fielding plans.
7. Produce informational or decision briefs as needed to communicate plans or gain approval of the fielding plans as required.
