Computer Forensic Examiner:
•
Produce forensically sound duplicates of original
media for examination/exploitation
•
Digitize and/or convert video and audio storage
mediums for examination/exploitation
•
Assign work to and work with MEDEX Linguists to
rapidly exploit media
•
Provide a written report, to local standards, of
every case exploited
•
Update databases to be used in cross-case
comparisons and link analysis
Qualifications:
•
Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience conducting
computer forensics operations
•
Demonstrated proficiency with computer forensic
software and hardware
•
Strong understanding of forensic science relating to
digital and analog media
•
Proficient use of file viewers, programming
languages, video/audio digitization
• Must
achieve a minimum ILR writing test score of 4 in
English (see Appendix Four)
•
Complete training in EnCase Forensic Software up
through the EnCase Advanced training course or
equivalent
Highly Desired Skills:
• BS in
computer engineering, programming, IT or Information
Assurance
•
Proficient with computer networks
•
Proficient in creating databases in MS Access and
SQL
The
contract provides strategic Document and Media
Exploitation (DOMEX) support to the Intelligence
Community (IC), Law Enforcement Community and
Department of Defense (DoD) in CONUS and OCONUS
locations.
Mandatory Requirements (All):
Able and willing to live and work in austere
conditions. Have the physical and mental capacity to
function in a high operational tempo and in crisis
situations. Able to communicate effectively
in English, orally and in writing. Experience using
Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint). Experience in word processing, typing,
editing, using office machines. Experience in
data-base processes. Knowledge of U.S.
Intelligence Community. Must be eligible for a full
Secret clearance, or higher, in JPAS in order to be
considered for nomination.
